Tell us a little about your job:
I am a Father Engagement Specialist III. I organize and teach Dads Parenting Groups for fathers. I assist practitioners and community partners on best practices around engaging men and fathers.
What’s new since you graduated from LPW?
I recently published my third poetry collection titled, “Music Made Me (Us) Do This.” I also sit on the board of directors with Words Beats and Life, a non-profit organization that uses Hip Hop and arts to empower and strengthen the youth and communities.
What is your favorite LPW memory?
The team-building activities. They challenged me in a healthy way.
How has Leadership Prince William helped you get to where you are today?
I have a new confidence about myself. I feel like I can connect with people more effectively.
What does leadership mean to you?
It means that you are always willing to learn and take risk.
