LPW’s Prince William Living Feature

August 31, 2026/in News/by charles@leadershipprincewilliam.org

A huge thank you to Rebecca Barnes, Class of ’08, for publishing an article on 20 years of Leadership Prince William in the most recent edition of Prince William Living. This feature is a really special look at where LPW has been, the impact our alumni have made throughout the community, and what’s ahead for the next 20 years. With more than 620 alumni across Prince William County, Manassas, and Manassas Park, there is so much to celebrate and be proud of as we welcome our 20th Signature Class.

Rebecca was part of the very first Signature Class and helped lay the foundation for what LPW has become today, making this feature especially meaningful as we celebrate this milestone year. We are so grateful to her for helping share the story of LPW and the people who have made it what it is.

Freedom High School Back-to-School Event

August 15, 2026/in News/by charles@leadershipprincewilliam.org

Leadership Prince William was proud to be part of the Back-to-School event at Freedom High School, bringing together community leaders, students, parents, and local organizations to kick off the new school year.

Alongside Micron Technology, we raised more than $13,000 to the Prince William County Community Foundation, supporting initiatives that make a meaningful difference throughout our community.

The event also brought together 27 Leadership Prince William alumni, who came out to support the event and represent their respective organizations.

Most importantly, we had the opportunity to connect with thousands of students and parents, sharing more about LPW and what our program offers.

We are grateful to everyone who helped make the event a success and proud to see the Leadership Prince William community continuing to show up and make a difference.

Message from the Chair about LPW 20th Anniversary

August 1, 2026/in News/by charles@leadershipprincewilliam.org

Leadership Prince William Community, As Chair of the Board of Regents, I am honored to join our board, alumni, sponsors, and community partners in recognizing the 20th anniversary of the Leadership Prince William Signature Program.

For 20 years, the Signature Program has developed leaders who continue to make a lasting impact throughout Prince William County, Manassas, and Manassas Park. This anniversary allows us to celebrate our history while looking ahead to the future.

This year also brings an important leadership transition. On behalf of the Board of Regents, I extend our sincere appreciation to Charles Gilliam for his service and dedication as Executive Director. Charles strengthened our organization, built lasting partnerships, and positioned Leadership Prince William for continued success.
