“Attending the summer program with Leadership Prince William (LPW) was an incredibly formative experience for me, as an 8th grader. Many times young people assume that leadership roles are strictly related to elected positions such as student government. LPW showed me how leadership can become a defining part of our involvement in so many different areas and especially in community service. The lessons I learned there allowed me to eventually co-found and help lead One World, a non-profit that is dedicated to bringing Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM) opportunities to underprivileged youth locally and globally. I highly recommend the Leadership Prince William program to students who wish to make a difference in the world. You will learn as much about yourself as you do from other community leaders, in many different walks of life. ”
